life in the village of Usa River, Tanzania

mid range real estate

a courtyard

jolly jumper donation - Cherie explained the concept
of hanging it so the child's feet could touch the
ground but something got lost in translation.
Raymond, Kal, Cherie, Mama, and Grace

sleeping through our visit

a shipping container converted into a house

This is our 'dream property' we would
love to build our new home and school on.

It is a former coffee plantation, with rich soil.....

mature trees,

and most importantly....WATER RIGHTS!!!

We visited Mana OVC - a group of children who have lost
a parent to aids who we offer extra study and support to.

Mary, one of our university students speaks to the children
explaining that hard work and study will be rewarded. She is the
shining example of that concept.

Our volunteers at Tumaini also help with studies on Saturday mornings.

We hope they have hope.....
